About Me
From the moment I was introduced to technology by my father, I became captivated by its endless possibilities. My early fascination with robots and computers sparked a journey that has only deepened over time. While computer science has always been a constant in my life, it was the advent of the AI revolution—especially the breakthroughs in LLMs—that truly ignited my sense of purpose. Witnessing AI's transformative potential opened my eyes to the profound ways in which it can shape the future. This realization led me to pursue various personal projects and culminated in the founding of an AI club at my school. Driven by a desire to challenge misconceptions, I used my club as a platform to promote a more informed understanding of AI among my peers. As someone fueled by an insatiable curiosity and a determination to contribute to the field of AI, I'm eager to continue exploring this field in hopes to leverage my passion to drive innovation and make meaningful contributions to the world.

Activities
AI Club Founder and President
As the founder and president of the AI Club, I initially encountered challenges with low attendance and engagement from the student body. Recognizing that a focus on the technical aspects of AI was not capturing interest, I decided to pivot to a more engaging approach by incorporating educational and fun activities. This shift not only revitalized the club's appeal but also aligned with our mission to highlight AI's positive impact on learning. I guided a team of students in exploring AI's academic potential and advocated for the responsible use of LLMs through interactive workshops and public speaking engagements. Additionally, I organized fundraising events and managed outreach initiatives, which were instrumental in growing and sustaining the club’s membership and influence.
Science Olympiad State Qualifier
As a Science Olympiad State Qualifier, I applied my expertise in coding and electrical engineering to design and build a robot from scratch, mastering Arduino programming, motor function, circuitry, and optimizing designs within budget constraints. Additionally, I developed a functional detector by integrating sensors and chemistry principles, demonstrating resilience through continuous problem-solving.
Proudly represented South Pasadena High School in competitions and tournaments, including:
- 2024 Southern California Science Olympiad State Tournament at Caltech
- 2024 Los Angeles Rio Hondo Regional Tournament
- 2024 UC Riverside Highlander Invitational
- 2024 BirdSO Science Olympiad Invitational at USC
Cybersecurity Club Secretary
As Secretary, I played a crucial role in recruiting new members and collaborating with club officers to expand the club's influence. Through active participation in club activities and competitions, I gained hands-on experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and defensive cybersecurity techniques. I also self-taught essential Linux security practices, such as system hardening, firewall configuration, and intrusion detection. My skills culminated in securing a position as a Silver Tier Semifinalist in the AFA CyberPatriot national competition, where I demonstrated advanced expertise in threat mitigation and system vulnerabilities.
Coding Club Vice President
As Vice President, I led educational efforts by teaching Python and data structures, which enhanced members' programming skills. I also organized and executed fundraisers, raising $2,000 to support club activities and competitions. Additionally, I coordinated and managed events like hackathons, fostering greater member engagement and excitement.
Girl's Basketball Team Player/Team Manager
I began as a committed player on the girl's basketball team, dedicating over 2 hours daily to training and pushing through challenges, including my height, to support my teammates and contribute to the success of the team. As my physical limitations became more evident, my coach recognized my strong analytical skills and promoted me to team manager. In this role, I recorded and analyzed player data during games to develop strategies that enhanced the team's performance. This transition allowed me to continue contributing to the team's success, allowing me to fulfill my core goal: to drive the team to victory.
